Adopting Elliott
Elliott belongs to a friend of Treys. They bought Elliott about six months ago, Elliott is now a little over a year old. Elliott has done no harm, he's just an individual who needs some love and attention. Elliott's owner bought him because he wanted something for his kids to ride, but he has not had the time and energy to put into Elliott, that Elliott needs. The owner is tired of messing with Elliott, so word got out that if no one takes Elliott, then he will shoot him. Well, Trey verified this information, and it was true. Neither one of us can bare the thought of shooting a horse for no reason, Elliott has done nothing wrong. So, we are taking Elliott. Stupid? Yes Probably, but at least he will have a good home! Elliott is a boy.... a "MAN" so he will have to be fixed before he can come visit Miss. Kitty. I do not want a MRS. Kitty. = )
Maybe Elliott needs a different name?!? Any suggestions?
And if you have any name suggestions for the baby pony, I would love to hear them!

Ba-BEE HorSuh
Ok.... So you're probably wondering what the heck, Ba-BEE HorSuh. Well, Peyton loves the baby horse and if you can picture an almost 2 year old saying baby horse, then well, you get the point! It's priceless!Last Sunday, Star, the pony had her first baby, a little boy! He is so cute. I was going to take pictures the day he was born, but when I got my camera out... well, it was dead! So, I got some pictures today, but he has already grown so much! I'm not sure if he has a name yet. Landon want's to name him Rocky, and other people vote on CoCo. But according to Landon he has a name already and it "Rocky Bailey Thunder" WOW! What a name to live up to!
We had an audience... like always! The horses and cows love the baby too!

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese, softened
1 tsp. CRYSTAL LIGHT Lemonade Flavor Drink Mix
1/4 cup cold fat-free milk
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping, thawed
1 ready-to-use reduced-fat graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)
Make It!
BEAT cream cheese and drink mix in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Gradually add milk, mixing until well blended.
STIR in COOL WHIP; spoon into crust.
* I added a little bit of cool whip to the top of the mixture after I spooned it into the crust. It kind of calms it down a little bit, if you think it is too tart!

Cooking Dinner!
I am cooking dinner tonight and I am so excited! I love to cook, I just hardly have time to do it! My goal now, since I'm not working as much is to cook dinner at least once a week...... but the more the better, or that's what my mom's thinking! = ) Tonight we are having Amelia's famous grilled chicken, Springtime Asparagus, Spicy Grilled mushrooms and lemonade cheesecake. YUMMMY....... well I will let you know if it is yummy or not! (All of the recipes above came from Kraft Foods, except for the chicken)
School Supplies
I love it when stores start to put out school supplies, but most of all, when they put out teaching supplies! These cute and wonderful things, really makes me want to be a teacher! I can't wait for the day that I have my own classroom full of children. I think it would be so much fun decorating a classroom! Filling it with fun and exciting things, name plates for the desks, bulletin boards, behavior charts, and much much more! The other day I saw some decorations at the Dollar store, you can't beat that..... $1! And Target had some cool stuff in their dollar section. I did buy a grade book and a lesson plan book! I can't wait to use it one day! Hopefully these next two years will go by fast and I will have my own classroom before I know it! (I can hear it now..... Ms. Martens!!!)

Stink'N Lincoln
This past Sunday, Trey & I went riding in the good ole' Lincoln, AR! This is where Trey has hunted for several years now, so as you can imagine, it's very woodsy, which is what we wanted! We were about sick of the dirt roads by his house. Getting the horses loaded in the trailer was pretty exciting. A gallon of feed, and a rope burn later, Cashew finally went in the trailer. Trey was getting very frustrated with him, but I kept reminding him that he has only been in a trailer twice that we know of..... PATIENCE! But, my precious Kitty walked right in and walked right out, she's so good! (She's only been in a trailer 3 times that we know of..... LOL) Riding in the woods was very exciting, and very good for the horses. They had to cross a lot of tree limbs (left over from the ice storm) and weave in and out of trees. Cashew was like a bull dozer. He just plowed right through the messy woods. After we got done riding, we picked some fresh blackberries. Our intentions were to pick enough to make a cobbler, but we didn't quite manage that one! It took a long time to pick as many as we got, but they were yummy! i ate 1/2 of them on the way home, it was a great healthy snack! And yes, I did get several chigger bites! = / Next Sunday we plan on going again, but this time we want to go to wither Goshen or Wedington Woods! Do you know of any good places to ride?

17 months
I miss you, but, I'm still mad at you. I'm mad at you for leaving everybody behind. I'm mad at you for only thinking of yourself. I'm mad at you for being so stupid. I still feel anger build up inside, and I could just scream. Sometimes I just want to see your face so I can shake you as hard as I can and ask you what you were you thinking, and the wonderful question, "WHY"? I still love you so much, and I keep praying for the day when there will be no more pain and sorrow, but most of all no more anger. I hate feeling bitterness towards you.

Making progress
I went out and rode Miss Kitty again, and let me tell ya, We Are Making Some Progress! It's amazing how much faster a horse will learn when you are able to ride everyday as appose to once a week! We haven't been wasting anytime this week! I have had her for six months, and to be honest with you, she has not made much progress (mainly my fault, because I have not had the time to work with her). But this past week she is starting to turn into the best horse ever! This week's goal has been neck reining. When she came back from the trainer she would neck rein, but not the way I want her to. I have always rode a horse that when you lay the reins over their neck they turn, not when you have to pull in. So, all week we have been focusing on laying the reins across her neck with a very little tug to help her, and she has been doing very good. But, today we were strictly turning with the reins across her neck! I was SOOOOOO excited. All that hard work this week paid off. And I'm sure if someone had a camera, they would have captured the worlds largest smile! I felt like we had actually accomplished something, and all that time was not a waste. We spent over an hour weaving in and out of the neighbors pine trees (Thanks for letting us borrow them!) And then we rode around in the yard, turning around random objects. I just hope when I go back tomorrow, she is still doing a great job, and didn't forget everything over night!
Kiwi got to go with me since dad was home to baby-sit Bruiser. And she had a blast! On the way there we had to stop at Co-Op to get some feed. When I went in, I left Kiwi in the car, so I rolled down the windows just a hair. I cam back out, got in my car, and pull around to the back to load up my feed. Got out of the car, loaded up my feed- in my 2 door honda civic.... I need a truck! And started to get back in my car, but for some reason the door handle wouldn't open. Ya, it was locked! Kiwi locked me out! My keys were in the ignition, my phone in my purse in the passenger seat, and I was standing there like an idiot tugging on the handle like it's magically going to open. So, I walked around to the other side, gave a tug on that door, and nope, it was locked too! I started to push down on the window as hard as I could, trying to give myself some room to squeeze my arm in there. The good news is that I got my arm in there, unlocked the door, but all the sudden my arm wouldn't come back out! My arm was stuck! Now, I felt like an even bigger idiot. I open the door just in case Kiwi decides to lock it again, and out she bails, I try hollering at her, with my arm stuck in the window, but shoot, would you listen to someone yelling at you with their arm stuck in a window.... after all they can't come after you! Knowing my arm went in there, so therefore it has to come out, right? So, I close my eyes, count to 3, and pull as hard as I can. Let's just say that all the skin above my elbow was pulled back, and my arm is now swollen and starting to bruise, but at least I got my arm back! And now, I head off to find my dog, knowing she is in trouble because I'm now FREE! We finally get loaded up in the car and head to Farmington.
But anyways, back to riding Miss Kitty, Kiwi followed me everywhere I went. And she didn't miss a beat. Even the hour we spent weaving in out and of the trees, she weaved in and out of the trees too. When we ran the fence, she ran the fence too. By the time we were done, her tongue was dragging the ground, and she was "dog tired". She even slept the whole way home, and if you know Kiwi, then you know she does not lie down in the car! We had fun today, but Kiwi did have to have a bath when we got home. For some reason she thought it would be a great idea to roll around in the barn!
Here are some pictures from yesterday, Bennett and Ella riding Kitty.

Love My Life
Amazing...... Wonderful...... Magnificent...... THE BEST THING EVER!
There are no words to express how I feel! This week has been the best week ever. Last Thursday was my last day at the bank. So I now have FREE TIME. Yes, those are words you have never heard me say before, but it's true, believe your eyes, I just said it & I will say it again, FREE TIME. On Monday I actually pulled a double at Sassy's but my day still didn't seem as long! I went to work, got a break for a couple of hours (put the house back in order) and went back to work. Yesterday was a great day too. I woke up early, headed to Farmington, rode Miss Kitty for several hours, laid out by the pool, headed to town for a pedicure, went and ate Mexican Food, and then rode Miss Kitty again. Does a day get any better? Today I baby-sat, but we still had fun! We went to go see Madagascar 2 and swam. So, that's what I've been up to these days! My summer has officially gotten better! The bad news is, I was looking at a calender, and realized I only have 6 weeks left before school starts back = ( That makes me sad!
