Bio Poem

For school, we have to create a portfolio and one of the requirements is a bio poem. So, I thought I would share mine with you! I would encourage you to take the time and create one for yourself, it's actually kind of interesting

Amelia

Smart, funny, caring, sensitive, beautiful, and excited to become an elementary teacher.

Daughter of Jerry, who builds tall buildings from scratch and Debbie, who is often referred to as a vampire by the patients from whose arms she draws blood. Sister to Kirby, youth minister extraordinaire, and Becke’, mom to three and talented singer and photographer.

Who loves sleeping in a cold room with a fan on while cuddling her Westie and going on long rides through the woods on her horse Kitty.

Who feels exhilarated when flying down a snow covered ski slope, intimidated by new experiences, sad at the immorality of this generation, but happy knowing that there is a better place when this life ends.

Who needs her computer, the beach once a year, lots of shoes and a great place to eat salsa.

Who fears the loss of another family member from death after losing her twenty-four year old sister.

Who gives of her time effortlessly, kind words and encouragement generously and love abundantly and unselfishly.

Who would like to touch the heart of every child she has the blessing of being able to teach and make each child feel special and secure and accomplished. To marry someday and have children of her own. And who would like to live her life pleasing God.

Resident of a French country home in a quiet neighborhood, close to her families twenty acres where their horses live.

Horse Races

I can now add to my list that I have been to the Horse Races in Hot Springs! And let me tell you - It's a BLAST! I can't believe I waited this long to go! And I would definitely go back in a heartbeat. I had the opportunity to go with a friend from work and his precious family let me stay with them. I had a wonderful weekend full of fun, food, and excitement! It was nice to be able to get away for the weekend and not have to work! So thanks again for your hospitality, it was greatly appreciated! =)

This horses name was "Kitty's Turn" ........ That's my horses name... KITTY!

See.... the first spot.... "Kitty's Turn" !

Need A Laugh: NUTTY-NESS

Dad: Why are there peanuts in my bed?
Dad: Who's been eating peanuts in my bed?
Mom: (timidly) Bruiser?
Dad: Bruiser doesn't eat peanuts....
Mom: That's why they're still in the bed.

Sometimes my parents are a little "nutty"
Parents say the darndest things.......... =)

*If you are not laughing then I am sorry - it must have been one of those things where you just had to be there!

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to spend time with my beautiful, talented, loving, caring, awesome, & amazing sister! Not only does Becke' take pictures and capture special times, but she also has the ability to capture peoples hearts. As a wonderful, but busy mother, daughter, and sister, she still takes the time to help others when needed by offering a helping hand.

God has truly blessed me with a wonderful family. I couldn't have asked for better parents. I have been showered with love, patience, and respect. They have taken the time in their busy lives to show me difference between right and wrong and have raised me to be who I am today. Without their loving hands and heart, and I would not be the same.
Other siblings that I do not see as often, or at all anymore- still hold a special place in my heart. I will always love and miss my family when I am not with them. I believe that our family is made up of love, laughter, creativity, talent, responsibility, dedication, and life! Everyone has the ability to contribute to this "family". This is who we are and who we will always be. We are a FAMILY!

Just Somethings To Think About...

Not much to say, just tired of looking at yogurt.

It has been a Long and Strange week. I won't go into details, but I'm just trying to remember that all things happen for a reason, it's just trying to find out that reason!

I'm also trying to remember that even though I am having a "hard week" there are people out there that are having an even harder week. Some of things in life that seem some large and heavy on our hearts are just small doses compared to some other people. I'm not trying to say that your heartaches or even mine do not matter, but try to remember that every time you are upset, send up a random prayer for someone you do or don't know, because it could make their day a lot better!

On a more happier note:
I used a new conditioner this morning! I love trying out new shampoos and conditioners! It's funny how the smallest things in life can make you smile sometimes! I actually got this conditioner at Walgreens (ON SALE) Which makes it even better and me even happier! I saved almost $5 on a bottle of conditioner! = ) Anyways, it's called Vitamin... Well that has to be good for your hair right? (Let's hope so)
It's funny how when you use a new shampoo or conditioner for the the first couple of times it smells SOOOOOO good. Why can't that smell last forever? Or at least after you wash your hair every time that smell should be just as great as the very first time you use that brand new bottle! It's like the scent goes away in the bottle, and your hair doesn't smell as strong, OR do we as the every day sniffers get use to the smell, so we can't smell it, but others can? So right now, my hair is shiny and smells wonderful, until I go to the BBQ Pit tonight and well the look of shininess and the smell of roses will be gone. Sad, but true.

Happy "Hump Day" (It's Wednesday!)
